From Africa to Shaolin – a kung fu dream come true!
Max Yollando, a kung fu enthusiast from Côte d’Ivoire, has spent years training at the Shaolin Temple. Now it’s time for him to give something back – by bringing young students from Africa to Songshan Mountain in Henan Province, the birthplace of kung fu, for a global kung fu event. But this is a kung fu convention with a difference: rather than just being about showcasing the fighting skills of the participants, equal weight is given to embracing the cultural significance of kung fu and understanding the deeper values that connect people wherever they come from.
